What a man!

Let me just say that I have a very blessing husband. Since going back to work, he has been absolutely supportive and helped me in so many ways. Little did I know the biggest way he was helping me has made him sick. Kade has been going to bed between 8-9 with his last "awake feeding" being around 7 or 730. Well, after washing bottles or doing a load of laundry and cleaning up a bit, I would go to bed, fully thinking that Lafe was staying up until 11 or 12 to wake Kade up and feed him. I didn't know that it was more like 1 or 2 some nights! I would get up between 530-630 to give Kade his paci to keep him satisified until his next feeding... thinking he was sleeping through the night more than just 5-6 hours. Kade and I would spend the mornings eating and getting ready and then wake up Lafe about 745 before I left. Poor Daddy...he was only getting about 4-6 hours of sleep a night and now is exhausted and feeling ill. All this to say.... it's not going to happen any more because I can get up and feed one time in the night if that means that the love of my life is well and getting the rest he needs. Plus...Kade will soon sleep more like 8-9 hours and then we both will be able to sleep better. Thank you Lord for providing for us both with the energy and abilities to work and provide for Kade. Thank you Lafe for loving me so much that you would sacrifice sleep so that I would have enough for work.
