Last week we traveled 11 hours ONE way to see my parents. Kade did so well! I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I just didn't remember. Kade is growing so fast! Tomorrow he will be 8 weeks old!!!

Recently...

So, here Kade is asleep in Lafe's office this past Wednesday afternoon. He is wearing his baseball uniform! He looked so cute. Then all three of us sported our OU attire to support the team, even though they lost. Finally, Kade wore his sunglasses while we are out running errands! (Thanks Aunt Sarah!)

We went over to Russ, Chelsea and Gracie's house the other night so Russ and Lafe could work on my car. Chelsea, Gracie, Kade and I got to hang out while they did that! I snapped a few pictures... look at that precious baby girl! Love her! Also, Kade used her swing and loved it! He fell alseep so quickly! We were talking about it at church this past Sunday morning and my friend, Natalie (valerie knows her!ha!) let us borrow theirs! We are very close to heaven!

Hands...

When I think about how the Lord put Kade in our lives, I cannot begin to thank Him enough. Each day I am reminded of how much he is growing and what an awesome responsibility Lafe and I have. I look at Kade's little smile and his big blue eyes and my heart melts. I also love to look at him while he is sleeping... and this picture just captured it. His precious little hands... Thank you, Lord. How could I ask for more?

Kade is starting to interact more with toys and us! Here we are playing on his play mat... it doesn't last too long... but still, we are looking at colors and listening to the sounds that it makes and moving his head back and forth. Just growing away! He's 5 weeks old!!!
