For Daddy...

He looks just like his Daddy!
Kade LOVES to stick out his tongue... don't be offended. He just learned what it feels like, he's not being rude. :)

Because of such a busy weekend, I was completely worn out. Lafe noticed that I needed some rest and told me to stay home Sunday night so that I could rest and Kade would be at home resting, too. Due to his wonderful kindness and thoughtfulness, I feel a little more rested. Kade was super cute after his bath... Mister Soapasaurus... we thought we'd mention how blessed we are to have the man that Kade will call Daddy and the man that I call husband. Thank you, God, for allowing us to have him in our lives. We love him.

Sad...

My dad, Kade's Papa did not get to come visit this weekend... BUT he will be coming this coming Thursday and staying until Monday! We are all excited. Kade was sad that Papa wasn't here yet.

New noises

Playing hard with my toys!

Kade has learned to allow his voice to have pitch and he loves it when we do the same noise back to him. It's our way of formally communicating at this time. It's so much fun!!!

Easter weekend

Although you can't see very well...Kade looked very cute on his first Easter! He had navy pants, white polo and a sweater vest to match. He was very adorable! This was right before nap time so he wasn't smiling too much.

Cute little boy... growing up fast!

Hanging out with Great-grandma Nightingale... we spent Friday night at their house. It took Kade quite awhile to get used to new people, but on Saturday admist all the busyness of family, he ate the best for her.

Aunt Vicki and Adam's girlfriend showing Kade the ducks that my Aunt Karen brought to give to my grandparents. Needless to say... my grandma loved them... grandpa not so much.

Checking out the ducks with Erica.

Eating his hands with Uncle Gary. Even though we had seen him about 6 weeks ago... Kade didn't remember and needed time to get used to him, too. I really didn't see that coming but I guess he is okay meeting new people...just not sitting with them.

Great-grandpa and Kade... the overalls I love! Kade had a good time visiting with them. I know they enjoyed it, too.

Kade is sitting up quite well in his borrowed bumbo chair. He loves to sit in it and try to eat anything he can get into his mouth!

Napping with Momma

I was trying to get a picture of Kade closer up when he was laying so differently in his bed... he put his hands up... however, that is how he likes his hands a lot of the time so I thought others needed to see it as well.

I wiggle a lot when I'm sleeping... this is how my momma found me one morning... propping my feet up on the bumber and rail. I'm really supposed to be the other way in my bed in my sleep positioner. I guess I'm done with that!

Last Sunday, Kade fell asleep on the couch... he looked so comfy that I decided to grab a blanket and snuggle with him. I fell asleep as well. We had a good hour long nap together.

Update

Thank you, Nana for my froggie! I ate it up!

Kade rolling over.... he's getting big! :)
