Overalls!

Kade wore overalls to church this morning and practiced rolling over on his blanket that Great-grandma Nightingale made him. The Dutch boys on his blanket are made from my grandpa's overalls. He looks so cute! I don't know who he looks like the most though! Any ideas?

Several happenings!

Yesterday, Lafe and I fed Kade his first bowl of rice cereal. He did pretty well with it. Then today, we went to Payson's 1st birthday party (which I didn't get my camera out for any birthday pictures..shame!) and Kade touched a bunny! He didn't really seem that interested. Also, my grandparents came to visit for an hour or so while they were on their way back home in Tulsa. We've had an event-filled weekend already!

Play date with Gracie!

Yesterday, Miss Gracie came over to play. She brought her parents with her. I didn't have my camera on me much because I was busy playing with her and Kade. We had lots of fun!

Such a big boy!

Today was Kade's first day to play in his big gift from my best friends. I was a little hestitant at first because I didn't know how well he would like it... well.. he LOVED IT! He had a lot of fun and I'm sure will have many more fun times in it! Thanks so much girls!

Air conditioning feels good...

Forever in my memory...

Today was such a sweet day. We went to church and came home to nap. Lafe was tired, Kade was tired, and I was tired. So... all three of us climbed into our bed to nap, which we had never done before. Kade usually rocks and is held until he is mostly asleep and then put in his bed. It was such a sweet moment for our little family. Lafe and I just talked quietly while our precious little boy fell asleep. He was so content in between us and fully knowing that he was completely safe and could rest well. I fell asleep and Lafe couldn't nap so he went in the living room and let us rest... let us rest for almost 2 hours! Kade usually sleeps for about an hour and I believe that he was just really relaxed and happy to be next to us. I will forever have today in my memory. Thank you, Lord, for the blessings that you give to us.

Kade's enjoyment

Kade went with us to the Cheesecake Factory and the mall (he did not care too much for the mall for it was interrupting nap time). He still enjoyed being out and about! (I couldn't publish a post without Kade being in it!)

Some incredible food...

Today, we went to the Cheesecake Factory with some of our youth and then to the mall (what junior high girl doesn't like to shop?). We had some incredible food and fun times !

Squeeky Clean

Although Kade had a bath last night, this morning he made a mess that required him to take another! Here he is all squeeky clean! How cute is he?!

Out with family

Tonight, my cousin, Brett, played in the state basketball playoffs... they lost by 3 points... it was sad, but the good part was to see some family. My Uncle Gary and Aunt Vickie took us out to eat, while my Aunt Karen paid for our way into the game and then we saw my grandparents and cousins and Russ, Chelsea, and Gracie. We took a specific picture of my Uncle Gary and Aunt Vickie holding Gracie and Kade to send to my mom and dad so they will come here for Spring Break. My uncle also called my mom to make her jealous... we were hoping it made her jealous enough to buy a plane ticket tonight. We shall see!! :)

Morning time fun

Kade usually lays on the couch and plays or sits in his bouncy seat while I finish getting ready in the mornings. This morning, he was rolling to his side and talking a lot with his sea horse that Nana and Papa bought him for Christmas. I have a video but I will upload it later. He's officially 3 months as of this past Sunday. He's growing so fast! I'm really ready for Spring Break when I can have an entire week with him and then 8 weeks until summer!! :)
